“These Boots” Poem
These Boots
By: Ashley Cline
Make way for she who wears these boots
For these are special fancy boots
One of a Kind
‘N hard to find
From day to night she wears these boots
It took some time to find the pair
From store to store she stopped to stare
Too tall, too short
So back n forth
‘Til she found the boots she would wear
These boots she treasures ever more
She’ll travel the world and explore
From city lights
To country nights
She found “the one” that she adores
What makes them special you may ask?
It’s not the leather, nor the clasp
The years of wear
Will never tear
The love she has will always last.
