One of my all time favorite things to do is cozy up with a great book, preferably with my favorite reading companion (my dog) at my feet, as I immerse myself into stories and places that I could only dream of through reading. So….what better way to combine my two passions than to have a book club specifically for all of our equestrian obsessed fans just like us! Would anybody be interested in doing this?
My idea for conducting this book club is selecting a book, perhaps every month or so, and providing a few questions in which we can all discuss what we liked/loved/didn’t really enjoy and other fun things! I know that there are a million different online book clubs out there that can offer the same thing. However, I have recently read some amazing books (having to do with horses) that I haven’t seen mentioned on other blogs or websites. I can promise you that, if nothing else, you will get some great titles that you will hopefully find to be great reads.
The first book that I’m DYING to tell all of you about is “Horses Never Lie About Love” by: Jana Harris
“With lyrical writing and a gift for drawing in the reader from the first sentence, Jana Harris has created a memoir that any equine-enthusiast would devour and any reader unfamiliar with horses would find identifiable. The love Harris has for horses is palpable on the page and every chapter made me fall in love with her memorable horses and their incredible story.”
–Jessica Burkhart, author of the Canterwood Crest series
I propose this to be the first official book to start off our book club. Trust me, it is one not to be missed. However, all feedback would be greatly appreciated and also I would love to hear your recommendations as well! This would be a book club where everybody has a say and everybody has a chance to get involved. Tell me what you think about this idea.

I think this sounds like a wonderful idea! I’ve always wanted to find a book club that dealt with horse books. I can’t wait to see what is next on the list. I loved Lynn Reardon’s book as well.
