The 2014 Breeders’ Cup World Championships takes place on October 31-November 1 at Santa Anita Park in Pasadena, California.
It’s the “Superbowl of Horse racing” where the best of the best horses and jockeys compete from all over the world. The Breeders’ Cup is quite the historic event… Even down to the trophy. Did you know: The Breeders’ Cup Trophy is an authentic bronze reproduction of the original Torrie horse that was created in Florence by Giovanni da Bologna in the late 1580s? *WOW*
Not only is the trophy outstanding, but the winning horses sure do get a treat to dress up in the winning circle in some fabulous fancy florals…
The Flower Garland made by Ralph’s is comprised of rare combinations of Beauty Asters, Golden Asters, Cremons and Catteleya Orchids, which are grown exclusively for the Breeders’ Cup since 1988. Fifteen championship race garlands are given to the winners of each Breeders’ Cup World Championship race.
Fashion at the Breeders’ Cup is simply a stunning sight. Strut your style on the purple carpet this year and fans in the stands, be sure to wear your best FOR The Best horse race in the world! #BCStyle is not to be overlooked… PS: You may be spotted on EquestrianStylist.com if we think you’ve got some show stopping style.
Horses: There’s quite a buzz about Chromes Vs. Clones.. Will it be California Chrome in purple or Jim Rome’s clone Shared Belief that will woo the crowd over this year? We will just have to wait and see…
