September 10-14, 2014 marks the the 44th running of the iconic equestrian International Showjumping event: The 2014 American Gold Cup.
The American Gold Cup will be held at the elegant historic Old Salem Farm in the charming town of North Salem, New York. Last year marked the first year that Equestrian Stylist attended, and we were WOWed to say the least. Beautiful weather, gorgeous footing, top competitors, to-die-for shopping, and delicious food were all a part of the spectacular scene.
The iconic Grand Prix Field above showcased the iconic Porsche presented by Danbury Auto. Riders enjoy galloping on this field and navigating through difficult natural and man-made challenges including; the bank, grog, ditch, open water, lush oak trees, and a rolling terrain.
The double decker VIP tent sponsored by Hermes was one of our favorite hangout spots last year… The food is absolutely delicious and the views of the Grand Prix field are incredible. Riders that are scheduled to be competing are Todd Minikus, Quentin Judge, and Hampton Classic Grand Prix winner Kevin Babbington.
Shopping is not to be overlooked at the Gold Cup. Be sure to stop by Boutique Row for state of the art riding apparel, jewelry, luxury and chic boutiques, it’s equestrian style at it’s finest.
