I recently came across a fabulous UK brand, Rydale… I am so drawn to British styles both when it comes to the show ring and street style. It’s classic and elegant, and usually fits so much better than American brands. We’re now in the season of Fall/ Winter, which means equestrian style is “in” everywhere. Break out your boots, riding pants, collared shirts and tweed jackets.
Some of my favorite picks from Rydale this season are the Wistow Printed Shirt and Askwith Sports Grip Jodphurs.
The Wistow shirt can be worn with jeans or jodhpurs, great for traveling or throwing on after a horse show.
As the temperatures drop, I’m sure you are excited to break out your fashion riding boots, too. I seem to practically live in my Dubarry “Claire” boots this time of year…
Also, I love to be able to transition from a work-casual look to the barn, and these breeches are perfect for that!
The jodhpurs or breeches (whichever you refer to them as) are super flattering and comfortable. I normally ride in a knee-patch breech, so it took some getting used to the full seat, but I was impressed! I love the navy, and there are slight pink accents which make a it fun accent for under your boots. For only $49, you can’t go wrong! I took a size 8, so if you’re normally a size 26 or less in US-made breeches, go for the size 8.
Rydale has some other beautiful equestrian style printed ‘Wistow’ button down shirts that also make great gifts for riders and trainers .*Hint* … Christmas is right around the corner!
I am loving this classic horsebit pattern. This can also transition well into Spring/summer if you wear it with white pants!
Trail ride often? This is the first time I’ve seen a classic country-chic trail riding pattern… It’s adorable! Throw on a pair of chelsea boots and a blazer over top to dress it up a tad 😉
We’re loving Rydale – affordable, fashionable, and equestrian-chic! Check out the rest of their great collections on www.Rydale.com
