Prestige, elegance, and grace were brought back to the world of equestrian events when the Palm Beach Masters launched at Deeridge Farm. In 2016, the Palm Beach Masters Series launched when the Jacobs Family successfully bid to keep World Cup qualifying showjumping in Wellington, Florida. The Deeridge Derby is an exclusive event held for the world’s best hunter riders and horses on the perfectly manicured turf setting in the Wellington, Florida.
The elegantly designed VIP Club at the Palm Beach Masters Series is a breathtaking two-story venue for spectators looking for the extra-cushy experience with exceptional cuisine. Gracie Street of West Palm Beach designed the interior of the club for the Deeridge Derby. Finely curated equestrian art, one-of-a-kind home decor, and fresh florals accented the hunter-inspired space beautifully.
Elegant life-size breathtaking “Hunter” portraits by Susan Van Wagoner lined the tent for the Deeridge Derby. Her realistic equestrian art showcases every detail of the horse including the muscle, bone structure, and individual hairs. Shabby chic wooden tables with antique accessories lined the VIP areas adding interest to the accent wall displays.

Adding comfortable furniture like this cosy couch and plush pillows added a “home-like” atmosphere inside the VIP at Deeridge Derby. Everyone needs to kick off their boots and relax on the couch after a long day of riding, so why not!?
Barnwood half-moon tables were decked with bold pink florals in wooden flower boxes. A perfect accent center piece inspired by the hunter’s ring jump course.
We got a sneak peak at the new Equiline Hunter Saddle by Scott Stewart in the glass case on display at the Deerdige Derby. “Equiline apparel is top quality, and we worked together on the saddle for over a year to put it all together,” Stewart said. “It’s the culmination of a little bit of my ideas and their ideas, and I think we have a good product. The saddles are really comfortable for both horse and rider, and they break in quite easy,” explained Scott Stewart.
The peaceful setting at Deeridge Derby is unlike any other. The horses, riders, and trainers really feel the elegance of the entire Showgrounds from the school area to the show ring. It truly is a horsey heaven on earth. Don’t forget to check out the Palm Beach Open coming to Deeridge March 22-25, the final series of the Palm Beach Masters.
