The Alltech National Horse Show 2013 is held at the prestigious Kentucky Horse Park this year focusing on hunter, jumper, and equestrian divisions. This year a whopping $850,000 will be given away in total prize money, including a huge Open Jumper Division. The Open Jumpers will feature $500,000 in total prize money, including the $250,000 Alltech Grand Prix. Up to 600 horses and over 450 competitors will gather at this historical equestrian event which was founded in 1883 in New York by a group of influential sportsmen. Originally the event was held at Madison Square Garden. Over the years it moved to Wellington, Florida and now is based at the Kentucky Horse Park.
