On April 24-27th, 2014, over 60,000 spectators are expected to attend this fabulous equestrian event. It’s the highest level Advanced Three-Day Event. Don’t forget your cameras…#RK3DE tweet, share, and tag if you attend!
Featured Events at “Rolex” this year include:
- The Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event Presented by Land Rover features the 17th U.S.Equestrian Federation Four Star Championship for the USET Foundation Pinnacle Cup.
- The Kentucky Reining Cup features The Adequan/USEF Open Reining National Championship which will serve as the Selection Trial for the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games U.S. Reining Team, as well as the World Freestyle Championship.
Classic styles and fashions are spotted from exhibitors like Boyd Martin (pictured below), who won “Best Turned Out Award” last year.
The Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event features exquisite shopping and browsing in the Sponsor Village and International Trade Fair with almost 200 booths and tents. Rolex Kentucky also features a variety of other entertaining attractions daily and visitors also receive general admission to the Kentucky Horse Park, America’s only theme park dedicated to horses. Saturday will include a Kids’ Corral with a bounce house and a climbing wall.
Don’t forget your Boots. There’s always a chance of rain in Kentucky… Why do you think it’s always so green? But, just in case you do forget them (you may need the chance to buy a new pair…)
Dubarry announced the launch the new Roscommon Boot. These little babies are available in Walnut for $349.00. Tell us what you think! (We are still partial to the Galway and the Claire’s)
Other things to do in Kentucky:
We highly enjoyed visiting The Castle Post. Also, downtown Lexington, KY is absolutely stunning… Be sure to check out some great drinks and eats at: Cheapside Bar & Grill, The Blue Heron and the Grey Goose. Last year we had a fabulous time at Rolex, to read more about it, click here.
