It’s back again! Steeplechases and sundresses, oh and the BIGGER the hat the better! Derby season is here, and we can’t get enough. Whether you are in the UK or the US, you have to follow one of the most prominent events in racing history…The British Equestrian Spectacular event Grand National at Aintree Racecourse: the most eagerly anticipated steeplechase in the world. The Grand National tests 40 runners and riders around two circuits of the National course at Aintree.
Some prominent events not to miss are:
Grand Opening Day: April 3, 2014: Along with world class racing, music and entertainment will be provided with a live performance from world famous Abba tribute act Bjorn Again.
Ladies Day: April 4, 2014:
Liverpool ONE, Beauty Bazaar Harvey Nichols and Mirror will have a whole host of activities happening from when gates open at 10am. Ladies will be pampered and witness one stylish racegoer be crowned Ladies Day Best Dressed.
Grand National Day: April 5, 2014:
The Crabbie’s Grand National 2014 will boast a seven-figure prize fund for the first time. Crabbie’s is part of the Halewood International stable of drinks brands and their sponsorship renews the company’s longstanding relationship with Aintree and racing on a wider level.
